Michael Bloomberg, Hank Paulson, and Tom Steyer call for a national risk assessment, saying:

If the United States were run like a business, its board of directors would fire its financial advisers for failing to disclose the significant and material risks associated with unmitigated climate change.

They launched an initiative called The Risky Business Initiative to address the situation where they say “our risk-assessment systems have broken down” and “this ignorance cannot be allowed to continue.”
